Five Pounds of Support. Without Five Pounds of Bag.

The CROSSTAC® Ultralight Rear Shooting Rest keeps the stable pyramid geometry of our original Rear Shooting Rest while dropping the weight from 5.1 lb. to just 0.3 lb.

You still get the saddle-shaped support and wide, non-skid base that resist tipping—without hauling nearly five extra pounds to the range or into the field.

Like the standard version, it pairs naturally with the CROSSTAC BFB front rest for a simple front-and-rear bench support setup.

Why LiteFill™?

LiteFill™ cuts more than 94% of the weight, making this the easy choice when carry weight matters.

As with our other ultralight bags, LiteFill™ is designed for support—not for crushing like a stress ball. Treat it like shooting equipment and it'll serve you well.

Standard or Ultralight — Which One Is Right for Me?

Choose the Standard Rear Shooting Rest if: Weight isn't a concern and you want the substantial feel and maximum everyday durability of the original LockFill™ version.

Choose the Ultralight if: You're carrying your gear any meaningful distance and want the same basic support geometry without more than five pounds of bag weight. Realize it's LIGHT though, and doesn't sit on the bench like the regular fills.

Do they work differently? The basic geometry and support concept are the same. The major difference is the fill—and therefore the weight and feel.

What's the tradeoff? LiteFill™ saves a tremendous amount of weight, but it isn't designed to be aggressively crushed or abused like a stress ball.
