The CROSSTAC® Ultralight Tactical Rear Squeeze Bag gives you the same ergonomic shape and fine elevation control as our original rear bag while dramatically reducing the weight.

The 6" Regular weighs approximately 1.04 oz., compared with 13.6 oz. for the Standard. The 8" Long weighs just 1.36 oz., compared with 20.8 oz. for the Standard.

If you're carrying your gear into the field or through a match, that's a lot of weight eliminated from one small piece of equipment.

Our one-way stretch construction controls how the bag moves under pressure, while the ergonomic oval shape fits naturally in your hand for the small squeeze-and-release adjustments that control rear elevation. An integrated wrist strap keeps the bag connected to your off-hand, and a sewn-in D-ring lets you tether it to your gear.

And just like the Standard, we don't sew it shut. The Ultralight TRSB is zippered and intentionally shipped overfilled so you can remove LiteFill™ a little at a time and tune the bag to the way you shoot.

LiteFill™ removes more than 90% of the fill weight compared with our Standard TRSB while retaining the adjustable feel you want from a rear bag.

There is a tradeoff: ultralight fill isn't meant to be crushed like a stress ball. Rear squeeze bags work through small, controlled adjustments, and a light touch will give LiteFill™ a much longer service life.

Why Choose the Ultralight TRSB?

It weighs just over an ounce. The 6" Regular weighs approximately 1.04 oz., while the 8" Long weighs only 1.36 oz. If you're carrying everything yourself, that's an easy place to eliminate weight.

Same job, dramatically less weight. You still get the ergonomic oval shape, one-way stretch construction and fine rear elevation control of our original TRSB. The major difference is what's inside.

Designed around your hand. Small changes in off-hand pressure translate into precise rear elevation adjustments. The wrist strap keeps the bag with your hand as you squeeze, release or reposition it.

Tune it yourself. We don't sew the bag shut and decide how it's supposed to feel for you. The zippered opening lets you adjust the amount of LiteFill™ yourself, and we intentionally ship the bag overfilled so you can remove fill until it feels right.

Don't leave it behind. The sewn-in D-ring lets you tether the bag to your rifle, shooting mat or other gear when you're moving between positions.

Standard or Ultralight — Which One Is Right for Me?

Choose the Ultralight TRSB if: You're hiking, hunting, competing or carrying your equipment far enough that every ounce matters.

Choose the Standard TRSB if: Weight isn't a major concern and you want the maximum everyday durability and more substantial feel of FlowFill™ LDPE media.

How much weight do I actually save? The 6" Standard weighs approximately 13.6 oz., compared with just 1.04 oz. for the 6" Ultralight. The 8" Standard weighs approximately 20.8 oz., while the 8" Ultralight weighs only 1.36 oz.

Do they work differently? Both use the same ergonomic rear-bag concept and are designed for fine elevation control. The primary difference is the fill—and therefore weight, feel and fill durability.

What's the tradeoff with LiteFill™? Weight versus durability. LiteFill™ is designed for the light pressure actually required to adjust a rear squeeze bag. Crushing or aggressively gripping it like a stress ball can damage the ultralight media.

Can I adjust the fill? Yes. Both versions are zippered and intentionally shipped overfilled. Shoot the bag first, then remove a little fill at a time until you get the response you want.

Which would we choose? If you're mostly shooting from a range or established firing position and don't care about a few extra ounces, choose Standard. If you're carrying everything yourself and counting ounces, Ultralight is the clear choice.
