The CROSSTAC® XXL Tactical Rear Squeeze Bag came from a simple problem: some of us have larger hands (our founder wears a 2XL glove!), and our original TRSB just didn't give us enough bag to work with.

We already had the right basic shape in another product: our original Kneeling Roll. So we tried it as a rear support. It worked! That became the XXL.

At approximately 5.5" diameter × 6" tall and 3.2 pounds, the XXL gives you substantially more bag to work with than a conventional rear squeeze bag. For shooters with larger hands—or anyone who simply prefers a more substantial rear support—that extra size gives you more surface area to grip, control and adjust behind the rifle.

Use it upright for maximum height or lay it on its side when you need a lower support position. You can still place it beneath the ankle/instep to help build a more stable traditional kneeling shooting position—a technique still used in positional rifle competition.

The XXL uses our FlowFill™ LDPE media for smooth, controlled adjustment without the crunchy feel of harder plastic fills. It moves easily when you make an adjustment, then supports the rifle without requiring a death grip.

Still Works as a Kneeling Roll

The XXL evolved from our original Kneeling Roll, and it can still do that job. Place it beneath the ankle or instep to help support a more stable traditional kneeling position in positional rifle shooting. While its primary job today is as a larger rear squeeze bag— the original kneeling-roll function is still built in.

Grip Fabric: Grip Black and Grip Coyote Brown are made with our high-grip exterior material. Multicam and other color options use standard Cordura because those patterns aren't available from our suppliers in the same grip material.

Choose the Standard TRSB if: You want a compact rear squeeze bag that fits naturally in the hand and works for most conventional rear-support applications.

Choose the XXL if: You have larger hands, prefer a more substantial bag, or simply want more bag to work with when controlling rear elevation.

Is the XXL for heavier rifles? It can certainly support them, but rifle weight isn't the main reason to choose it. The biggest difference is the larger diameter and how much bag you have in your hand.

Can I change the height? Yes. Use the XXL upright for maximum height or lay it on its side for a lower support position.

Is it a barricade bag? That's not its primary job. The XXL is designed primarily as a larger rear support bag. For tank traps and awkward positional obstacles, the JESTER™ is the product specifically designed for that role.
