All-Terrain Support at Just 0.46 Pounds.

The CROSSTAC® Ultralight Saddle Bag keeps the draping geometry that makes the original so versatile while cutting the weight from approximately 7.1 lb. to just 0.46 lb.

Drape it over a window, fence, post, branch or rock—or open it flat on a bench. You get the same adaptable support without carrying more than six extra pounds to get it.

Why LiteFill™?

LiteFill™ cuts more than 93% of the weight, making this the Saddle Bag for field use or anywhere carry weight matters.

As with our other ultralight bags, LiteFill™ is designed for support—not for crushing like a stress ball. Use it as intended and it will give you the weight savings without sacrificing the basic function of the bag.

Standard or Ultralight — Which One Is Right for Me?

Choose the Standard Saddle Bag if: Weight isn't a concern and you want the extra mass and planted feel of the LockFill™ version.

Choose the Ultralight if: You're carrying your gear any meaningful distance and want the same drape-over geometry without more than seven pounds of bag weight.

Do they work differently? The basic geometry and support concept are the same. The major difference is the fill—and therefore weight, feel and how planted the bag feels on the obstacle.

What's the tradeoff? LiteFill™ saves a tremendous amount of weight, but it is more delicate than the standard walnut-based fill and isn't meant to be aggressively crushed.
